So many of you have been asking about market, how things went, and what we saw! It was a whirlwind, and we hate working on a budget, but we think we succeeded! There was so much to see and do and buy and so.little.time....BUT- We think you will all be pleased with the items we handpicked with you in mind! Things will start arriving next week and continue through May, so make sure you continue to check back with us over the next few weeks and months...We will do our best to Instagram and FB all of the new arrivals as they come in, but remember you need to come into the store to see the full selection of
new items!
There will also be a little remodeling/construction going on in the shop for the next few weeks to prepare for some new merchandise. We apologize for this, but we promise in the end that the mess will all be worth it! Thanks to all of our loyal customers and friends that stick with us through the ups and downs...
On our way to Dallas, we detoured to Magnolia Market Silos in Waco, Texas...I'm sure most of you know that Magnolia is owned by HGTV's Fixer Upper couple, Chip & Joanna Gaines. And if you're anything like me, you absolutely LOVE everything this couple is known for...
Here's a peek at what we saw...Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

The silos are set in downtown Waco...Two giant monsters that you can see from miles away...I was absolutely amazed at the size of them...
The store is an old warehouse that has been remodeled. Its simple, but a perfect fit for farmhouse style...
When you walk in the doors, you'll notice this lovely little setup...
It just oozes Joanna style...
The shelves are neatly stocked with treasures...
Do you notice anything familiar? You can also find this lovely cotton wreath and stems here at Maison Greige...
My favorite part of the shop was seeing all the little vignettes and setups displaying the merchandise so perfectly...You feel like you've just walked into a Fixer Upper property!
Organic Throws in lots of lovely neutrals!
We also carry this line at MG, and they are amazing!
There's a little area in a back corner labeled "Chip's Corner"...
Cute little items for men like Thermos bottles, soaps, and Dopp kits...
There is a stem station where you can choose your stem and then pair it with a lovely little container...Perfect to add a little life and warmth to any decor. Look for stems like these that will be coming soon to MG!
There's an entire wall of signs that Joanna often features in her homes...These are made locally by a Texas artisan...
Here's my personal favorite...
More farmhouse style in every nook and cranny...I am in love with this chippy table...
This sink station makes me wanna drool...can you just imagine?
Lots of little goodies from farms and many different options to grow your own little gardens in little spaces...Just wait until you see what we have heading our way for spring...
Of course we had to sign the guest book...
#lovefromLA
Stepping down from the store you will find and entire back warehouse and an enormous area dedicated entirely to "scratch and dent" items...
I can't even imagine having this kind of space and budget...
Another familiar find... See this and another 6-light option available here at MG...I just installed the larger 6-light pendant in my dining room, and I'm LOVING it!
The register counter is art in itself...so simple and classy...and PLENTY of room!
I'm so jealous!
Even on a Tuesday morning, the shop is bustling and busy...
We hope to have this many shoppers here at our store too!
Stepping out of the warehouse, you'll find a huge turf area for playing or picnics...
Recognize this little logo? Strategically sitting on the silo shed...
Across the field, you'll find a nice selection of foodie trucks! I was in heaven...Just look at the character these guys put into these little gems...
The food truck owners were so kind...and didn't mind posing for our blog!
Check out their Facebook page here!
They even had a little greenery and garden display...
Lots of picnic tables for eating on...
After making the rounds, we finally decided on the Cheddar Box...We indulged in some amazing gourmet Mac N Cheese...
Check out their website here!
and the Cinnamon crepes were to die for...
Seriously, I'll be craving them for the rest of forever!
I guess I'll just have to drool from afar...
Check out their lovely little website here!
I love this shot of the silos...
And a little bit of advice that everyone needs to listen to...
Clearly, I just couldn't get enough of the chippy farm table and all of the displays in neat little lines...
There's still a lot of work going on at the silos, but I think that once its finished it will be even more of a destination...If you're ever in the area, or anywhere close, I definitely recommend stopping by to take it all in- and don't forget the food trucks!
